The greatest of these is love.

I wrote this song for a dear friend’s wedding – and performed it for he and his bride on their special day. My context was I John 4:7-13 and I Corinthians 13. My goal – represent the reality of lasting love – the greatest gift given to us. The haunting truth is that their marriage didn’t last – and it is a sobering reminder to me every time I think about it that only God’s love interwoven into our lives will have permanence. Fight for your marriage – and commit it to Christ on a regular basis. Keep Him first in all things.
